The general induction covers site access, parking, security, code of conduct, incident reporting, evacuation and first aid for anyone visiting or working on site. The contractor induction goes further, covering risk assessments, permits to work, hot works, working at height, COSHH and waste management — the specific requirements contractors need that a general visitor doesn't.
