Below The Rig

Shot entirely offshore, ‘Below the Rig’ takes viewers inside the high-pressure world of industrial diving. Our team spent 17 days on location with DCN DIVING, filming saturation divers at work beneath a live oil rig. With full offshore certification and experience in hostile environments, we captured not just the process, but the human stories behind it. This is how we turn high-risk operations into powerful recruitment and brand tools.
Project overview
Below the Rig is a cinematic documentary shot beneath a live oil rig, deep in the high-stakes world of saturation diving. This latest chapter follows DCN DIVING’s elite teams as they unveil groundbreaking new technology — the Micro Habitat, created by Earl Toups. Designed to revolutionise underwater welding, it’s safer, more efficient, and set to save companies millions across the offshore sector. Filmed entirely on location, the project combines Offshore-Certified crews with immersive storytelling to elevate DCN DIVING’s brand, drive recruitment, and highlight the innovation shaping the future of subsea engineering — while still showing the human side of one of the most demanding jobs on the planet.
